THE PRINCE AND THE DRAGON
The songs below make up my second CD. I hope you enjoy the music but I also hope you listen to the message each song contains.
ONE DAY CLOSER
My friend Kevin Skaja wrote this song. It speaks about the fact that everyday that goes by is just one day closer to seeing the Lord Jesus Christ.

TRIBULATION SONG
This song was written by Pastor Rodney Beaulieu. I met him in Tennessee at a Bible Conference. He played for me this song he wrote and gave me permission to record it. The song is based on Psalm 24:3,4 and Psalm 139:23,24.

HIS WORKMANSHIP
This song is based on Eph. 2:10 where it says we are God's workmanship. In the greek language, this word workmanship is poiema which is where we get our word poem. God is writing a poetic masterpiece with our lives. The greek word poiema also contains the idea of a fabric. God is weaving a picture which is not always evident in our lives but we will understand one day. Life can be hard at times but as the song says, the rainbow comes only after the rain.

THE PRINCE AND THE DRAGON
This song is based on a story by an anonymous author. It's a fictional story about a Dragon that terrorizes a kingdom. One night the Dragon befriends the King's son, the Prince. The Dragon entices the Prince to climb on his back to go for a ride which the Prince agrees to do. The Prince becomes addicted to these flights with the Dragon. Finally, people find out that the Prince has made friends with the Dragon. In the end, it turns out many people in the kingdom have done the same thing the Prince has done. This story is told to liken the struggle the Prince had with the struggles we all go through at times, and how we need one another to help defeat the addictions and destructive behaviors in our lives.

THE PRINCE AND HIS SONG
The Prince and the Dragon song simply tells a story but does not interpret it. This song seeks to give the intrepretation. I think the song speaks for itself.

PSALM 1
As the title suggests, the song is Psalm 1 put to music. While all of the truth in Psalm 1 doesn't necessarily apply to us, it teaches us that righteousness has benefits, and our desire should be to shun the ungodly and their ways. The way of the ungodly will perish.

AMERICAN EMPIRE
I wrote this song over 20yrs ago but I recently added more words and a guitar solo. People in this country talk alot about their rights and freedom, but as Christians we should realize that true freedom comes only through Christ. We should not be demanding our rights. The only rights as Christians we have is to be who we are in Christ. The world, including the U.S. government doesn't owe us anything. In fact, as a general rule, governments are hostile to Christianity. That is why we need to find liberty in Christ alone and not to get caught up in demanding anything from the world's system.

LAST DAYS
This song was written by my friend Kevin Skaja. As the title suggests, it deals with the possiblity that we live in the last days.

LIKE YOUR SON
As Christians, our desire should be to conform to the image of God's son. That's what this song is about. This is a life long process. The ending has an interesting three part melody. You'll hear one voice first, then a second voice singing a different melody while the first melody continues. Then a third melody comes in so all three melodies are being sung simaltaneously.
